We are screening the Peruvian documentary film 'Hija de la laguna - Daughter of the lake' on the 12th of March at Balberstrasse 20, 6:30 pm! Part of the donations will be given to the protagonist Nelida Ayay, who is completing her law degree to protect the nature rights.

About the event
We are screening the Peruvian documentary film 'Hija de la laguna - Daughter of the lake' on the 12th of March at Balberstrasse 20, 6:30 pm! Part of the donations will be given to the protagonist Nelida Ayay, who is completing her law degree to protect the nature rights.
'Daugther of the Lake' begins at the height of the Peruvian gold rush and tells the story of an Andean woman who is able to communicate with water spirits. She uses her power to prevent a mining corporation from destroying the lake she considers to be her mother.
